Dr. Westphal has enjoyed a career of Orthopedic Surgery in Lancaster County for over 30 years. He is a graduate of Franklin and Marshall College and Thomas Jefferson University where he also completed his residency. In addition, Dr. Westphal served in the US Navy. He was the Medical Officer on the USS Trenton and was stationed at the Pensacola Naval Regional Medical Center. He is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon as well as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

His most recent accomplishment is a Masters in Business Administration — Medical Services Management from Johns Hopkins University in December of 2012. He also passed the rigorous exam to become a Certified Physician Executive.

When he’s not in the office or the operating room, Dr. Westphal enjoys woodworking, building model airplanes and spending time at the shore with his wife and dog, Jersey.
